We are seeking dedicated volunteers (ages 18 and older) to join our crew as Tour Guides at the Galveston Naval Museum!

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualities and skills:

A basic understanding of World War II, particularly naval history or naval vessels

Confidence in public speaking and engaging with groups of all sizes

A friendly and enthusiastic attitude, especially when interacting with youth

An outgoing personality with a genuine passion for history and education
What to Expect After You Apply:
Once you submit your application, our volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule a brief orientation session. This is an informal conversation to discuss the role, answer your questions, and ensure it's a great fit for everyone. If we mutually agree to move forward, we will then schedule your comprehensive training to prepare you for your exciting role as a Galveston Naval Museum tour guide.
