Volunteer Tour Guides
Become a volunteer tour guide at the Galveston Naval Museum and bring history to life. Share the powerful stories of the USS Cavalla and USS Stewart with visitors, inspiring them while preserving our nation's naval heritage. Your passion can turn a tour into an unforgettable experience. Join our crew and make a difference today.

Docent
A docent conducts tours for five to twenty people around the USS Cavalla and USS Stewart in a 45 to 60 minute time period. The tour process consists of the basic greeting, giving an orientation/summary presentation, provide a safety briefing and a series of 2 minute listen-and-learn sessions at stations in USS Cavalla and around USS Stewart.
